Highly unlikely. If there is money to be made, Activision will be all over that sh*t. 
No, but seriously... I cannot see them stopping the franchise when it has grown rather than declined in users.
Not so sure how it will turn out next game though... especially if recent rumors of who is going to be behind the story are true.
