Modded controllers are not allowed in MLG play. Each match is recorded. A team is automatically disqualified when they use them.
I never said gaming is not a sport.
Using the amplify perk for example gives you the ability to hear an opponent movements thus giving away their position. So, amplify is an enhancement. Without it, you cannot and do not have the same ability. Therefore it enhances your ability.
It does NOT dumb down the game.
Play a few real competitive matches with MLG "rules" and let me know what you think. It is a completely different game when you cannot rely on certain perk enhancements.
It actually sharpens your focus on playing the game with better skill and strategy.
