I noticed the last three days had gotten much worse, and probably since patch was slightly worse in general. I'm not sure its hit detection/lag comp though.

 

What I found is that since the patch there have been a number of matchmaking hotfixes. I forget the exact message, but if your in a lobby and a hotfix updates occurs you will get kicked to main lobby and it says something like "a game playlist change has occurred" or some such thing. Its happened probably 5-6 times while I'm playing since around the time of patch.

 

What I notice after each of these updates is the players I am playing against have gotten better. This is also reflected in that the lobbies tend to have higher overall k/d ratios amongst the players.

 

The lag comp issue seems to be two-fold. Its actually just lag in this case(unlike ...ahem... Lag Ops 2). It is likely pitching you against better players and simultaneously giving you worse ping and a worse host due to the differences in player locations.

 

The worst culprit hotfix seemed to have happened early morning yesterday, so approximately 38-39 hours ago. Myself...almost every other game I run into a 4-6 player lobby of gold or platinum division with average 3 k/d and 10k or less TDM rank. Not even remotely cool. I play solo-mode ffs. Before I was running into lobbies of mostly less than 1 k/d, with 2-3 players above 1 k/d, and maybe 1 player at 2 k/d. Now, When I'm not running into super squads, I'm running into wannabe super squads who abuse specific weapons and map positions...and who do nothing but team camp.

 

My guess, is that the hotfix has partitioned players into different skills levels with extreme prejudice, and you are now playing people halfway across the country with what the server believes to be a balanced skill level.
